Global star Priyanka Chopra is thrilled to join the Oscar nominee for Best Live Action Short Film film “Anuja” as an executive producer, alongside Guneet Monga. Variety shared this exciting development. Priyanka’s involvement adds significant star power to the project. Further elevating its prestige and visibility in the international film circuit. Priyanka wrote, “Yaaaay! ‘Anuja’ is heading to the 2025 Oscars as a nominee for Best Live Action Short Film! Incredible! Thank you to @theacademy for the amazing honour. Huge congratulations to @adam_j_graves and the team of Anuja for capturing the essence of love, family, and resilience. The short film Anuja is about a nine-year-old orphan named Anuja who works in a garment factory with her older sister Palak. Things turn when the little one gets an opportunity to join a boarding school. Now the little child is forced to make a decision that defines both sisters’ fate.
