In a recent interview with Galata India, Singham Again actor candidly spoke about his stepmother Sri Devi. The interesting fact is that Arjun Kapoor mentioned Sri Devi as ‘Ma’am’. He said “My entire life with my father was being on Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja set. Even by today’s standards, it is one of the biggest films we ever made. The film cost ₹10 crore in 1992. It had Anil Kapoor, Sridevi ma’am and Jaggu dada, Jackie Shroff. Anupam Kher was the villain. And there was a pigeon with Anil Chachu (uncle) in the film, whose name was Django, and it was my favourite character at the time.”
Boney Kapoor was initially married to Mona Shourie Kapoor in 1983 and had two kids Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor. While still in marriage, Boney Kapoor’s relationship with Sri Devi started. Boney divorced Mona in 1996 and married Sri Devi in the same year. The couple had two girls Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor. After a few years of marriage, Sri Devi died in a tragic accident in 2018. Ever since the family became even closer, they were often seen hanging out together. Arjun Kapoor maintains a great bond with his stepsisters.
