Top 10 Biggest Flop Movies of 2025: Big Hype, Zero Impact

Biggest Flop Movies of 2025: The year 2025 was a rollercoaster for Indian cinema. While some films turned into massive hits, many high-budget and highly promoted movies failed to impress audiences. Despite big stars, heavy marketing, and huge expectations, these films flopped at the box office and left both producers and viewers disappointed. Here are the top 10 movies that created buzz but failed to deliver.

1. Badass Ravi Kumar: Himesh’s Musical Misfire
Released on February 7, Himesh Reshammiya’s action-musical collected only ₹12.70 crore against a ₹20 crore budget. Over-the-top action and repetitive songs pushed audiences away. Available on Netflix.

2. Mere Husband Ki Biwi: A Forced Love Triangle
This romantic comedy earned only ₹11.80 crore on a ₹40 crore budget. The chemistry between the lead trio felt unnatural, and the film was labeled a dull remake. Streaming on Prime Video.

3. Game Changer: A Big Budget Letdown
Shankar and Ram Charan’s ₹300 crore political drama crashed badly, earning only ₹195.80 crore. Despite massive hype, the weak storyline disappointed fans. Streaming on Prime Video.

4. Emergency: Kangana’s Historical Flop
Kangana Ranaut’s biopic on Indira Gandhi collected ₹22.50 crore on a ₹50 crore budget. A strong look couldn’t save a weak script. Streaming on Netflix.

5. The Bengal Files: Agnihotri’s Underwhelming Third Installment
Despite strong performances, the film earned only ₹24.40 crore on a ₹30 crore budget. Its lengthy narration hurt its chances. Streaming on ZEE5.

6. Sikandar: Salman’s Eid Failure
Made on ₹200 crore, it earned ₹182.70 crore. Weak direction and a dull story made it a forgettable film. Now on Netflix.

8. Deva: Shahid Kapoor’s Missed Opportunity
This remake of “Mumbai Police” earned only ₹58 crore on a ₹55 crore budget. Despite a strong premise, flat execution ruined it. On Prime Video.

9. War 2: Big Stars, Weak Story
Even Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR couldn’t save the film. With a ₹400 crore budget, it collected ₹360 crore. A poor script held it back. Available on Netflix.

10. Aazaad: A Failed Debut
Aaman Devgan and Rasha Thadani’s debut film earned only ₹8 crore on an ₹80 crore budget. Weak writing and acting led to its downfall. On Netflix.

These films prove that hype, stars, and massive budgets cannot replace strong storytelling. In 2025, content truly remained the king.
