Brahmastra Director Ayan Mukerji’s Father Passes Away at 83!

Brahmastra Director Ayan Mukerji: Bollywood’s veteran filmmaker Ayan Mukherjee’s father, Deb Mukherjee, passed away on March 14 at the age of 83. The news of Deb Mukherjee’s death has sent a wave of mourning not only in his family but also in the film industry. He was unwell for a long time and was suffering from age-related problems. His spokesperson informed the media that he breathed his last this morning.


Took his last breath on Holi day

Deb Mukherjee’s death is a big loss, as he had acted in many big films in his life. Deb Mukherjee had proved his acting skills in films like ‘Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar’, ‘Adhikaar’. Apart from this, he also played important roles in many other films, including films like ‘Aansu Ban Gaye Phool’, ‘Abhinetri’, ‘Do Aankhen Barah Haath’ and ‘Kaminey’.

Deb Mukherjee was not only a great actor but he was also a prominent name among the organizers of Durga Puja held in North Mumbai. Every year big celebrities like Kajol, Rani Mukherjee, Tanisha, Rupali Ganguly participate in this puja, which was supervised by Deb Mukherjee.


Bollywood celebs expressed grief

His last journey will take place today at 4 pm at Pawan Hans crematorium in Juhu, Mumbai. Many big stars of Bollywood will be present on this occasion, including celebrities like Kajol, Ajay Devgan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Rani Mukherjee, Tanisha, Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Siddharth Malhotra. Apart from these stars, many other people associated with Bollywood will also stand with the family in this sad hour.

Bollywood gets a shock

Deb Mukherjee’s film journey was quite inspiring. He not only impressed the audience with his acting ability. But also made a special place in the industry with his hard work and dedication. His contribution will always be remembered. His demise has left a huge void in the film industry, which will hardly be filled.

May his family get lots of strength in this hour of grief. We all pray that his soul rests in peace and his family gets through this sad time. Deb Mukherjee will always be remembered for his contribution to Bollywood.
