Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan and celebrities Ajay Devgan and Tiger Shroff are facing legal challenges right now. District Consumer Redressal Commission Kota has registered a case against the Bollywood celebrities for promoting and misleading the consumers.

Case Details:

According to the complaint filed by a social worker and BJP leader Indramohan Singh Honey through advocate Vivek Nandwana, the case was registered under section 89 of the Consumer Protection Act which tells on the misleading advertisements. In the complaint, it is written that Vimal Pan Masala claims that the product contains “Kesar”(Safron) which is misleading youth mostly.

According to the reports, the saffron is very costly but the present Vimal Pan Masala is available at a reasonable price. It is also reported in the complaint that the warning on the packaging is written in very small fonts very tough to read. Following this complaint Consumer Commission has issued a notice to the actors and the manufacturers to explain to the court.

Most of the people say that actors endorsing these kinds of brands are not good at all. Particularly the products linked to tobacco and which have health concerns. For the past few years, Bollywood celebrities have been in the news for promoting gutkha, Pan Masala, and similar products.
