Air India Flight Crash: The Gujarat State Police Control Room reports that an Air India plane crashed Thursday during takeoff close to Ahmedabad’s Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Airport. One Canadian, seven Portuguese, 53 British, and 169 Indian nationals make up this group. On social media, Bollywood celebrities Riteish Deshmukh and Randeep Hooda shared their sadness over the occurrence.

Ahmedabad Flight Crash:
The plane took off from Ahmedabad at 1339 IST (0809 UTC) from runway 23, according to ATC. It sent a mayday call to ATC, but the aircraft did not respond to ATC’s calls after that. Shortly after taking off from Runway 23, an aircraft crashed onto the ground beyond the airport’s boundaries. The official reported seeing a lot of black smoke emanating from the scene of the collision.
