According to a report, the two top Bollywood actresses were considered to star opposite SRK. The reports suggest that either Deepika Padukone or Kareena Kapoor can be seen in the film. At the same time, during an event in Abu Dhabi, Shahrukh gave some more updates about this film. He had said, “I will be shooting for it for a few months. My director, Siddharth Anand, is very strict. He also made ‘Pathan’. He has forbidden me from telling anything. I cannot say much, but I promise that you will enjoy watching the film.”
