Did Triptii Dimri Replace a Star Actress in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3? Bhool Bhulaya 3 director Anees Bazmee has made shocking revelations about the Casting process of the upcoming film. The horror comedy stars Kartik Aaryan, Tripti Dimri, Vidya Balan, and Madhuri Dixit in lead roles. Now the director revealed that Tripti Dimri was not the first choice for the film. The Selection Process

While promoting Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, the director discussed the casting choices for the film in an interview. Anees revealed that Tripti was never a choice for the film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. But after watching Animal the director thought why not cast her she did a good job. But they kept Tripti Dimri as the second choice. During the interview Anees said, “It’s not like we always had Triptii in our minds for (the movie). We had to consider a lot of factors.”

She did a fantastic job in Animal. But I don’t think she was an overnight sensation. The success and growth she’s seeing stemmed from years of hard work. Aneez added that they wanted to try a fresh pair for the film “We had thought of a few other names for her character and they wouldn’t have been bad choices but this choice is ver good one. But let me tell you that she has a very good role too. She hasn’t been cast just to feature in a couple of songs. She’s going to shock everyone with her role and performance. They’re sure to say, ‘Achcha, iss tarah hai unka role? Humne toh kabhi socha hi nahi tha.” He claimed that audiance will be shocked to see her in such a good role.
