Directors Raj & DK to come back to the cinema after 7 years

Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK, the popular name Raj & DK to make a comeback on the big screen after a seven-year hiatus. With their writing skills, the duo has ruled the OTT arena with successes like The Family Man 3, Farzee and Guns & Gulabs. Their recent big-screen appearance was in Stree (2018) in which they were producers and writers.

It’s great to have Raaj & DK return to the silver screen. And their current OTT projects continue to showcase their creative skills. A combination of theatrical and digital projects maintains the duo as a dynamic presence in Indian entertainment, leaving viewers some thrill on every platform.

Directors Raj & DK to come back

Raj & DK are busy scripting their big screen return with two of them. They will be directing one of the productions, while another will be directed by someone else. One of these productions is set to go on floors in the second half of 2026. Following the fulfillment of their current OTT commitments.

Farzi 2

Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi will be repeating their roles in season two of the highly anticipated Farzi. The crime thriller, which has kept the audience hooked with its gripping plot. It will start filming in late 2025 and will be out in mid-2026.

Raakta Brahmand

Raj & DK are also working on a new OTT series titled Raakta Brahmand, which will feature exciting and gripping storylines. Though the details regarding the plot are not revealed, the project is being produced at a fast rate along with their other ventures.

The Family Man Season 3

The third season of The Family Man, featuring Manoj Bajpayee, is in post-production and will be out on Prime Video near Diwali in 2025. The series again has a mix of suspense, action and family drama, and viewers are waiting for its release with bated breath.

Citadel: Honey Bunny

Raaj & DK’s latest production, Citadel: Honey Bunny, came out in 2024 to huge popularity for its compelling storyline and acting. The series strengthened their role further as top-notch creators of the OTT sector.
