Drishyam 3 announced: The wait is finally over for suspense and thriller junkies! Panorama Studios has officially announced Drishyam 3. Which will be the third installment of the thrilling crime drama, and we’ll see Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn back as the clever and enigmatic Vijay Salgaonkar, once again teaming up with director Abhishek Pathak, whose film Drishyam 2 was a blockbuster.
The Drishyam franchise has established itself as one of the most iconic suspense thrillers in Indian films. The first Drishyam, which was released in 2015. Introduced us to Vijay, an unassuming cable operator who committed unimaginable acts to protect his family after committing a crime. In Drishyam 2, which was released in 2022, the narrative picks up years later and also included suspenseful twists the audience could not have fathomed.
Both films were remakes of the original Malayalam films, which starred Mohanlal. But they were well crafted enough to have their own identity, especially with Ajay Devgn’s intense performances and Pathak’s direction.
Although the makers are keeping the plot of the film quiet, Drishyam 3 will undoubtedly pick up right where the second movie ended. Which having the cat-and-mouse between Vijay and the cops continue. The third film will undoubtedly provide an exciting conclusion to Vijay’s long fight to protect his family. While bringing with it more suspense, emotional depth, and mind-boggling twists.
With high hopes surrounding the film, fans are left wondering if Vijay will continue to best the authorities or if he will face up to the consequences of his past.
