Esha Deol Clarifies Dharmendra’s Death: Bollywood actress Esha Deol has addressed the increasing wave of rumors about her father, legendary actor Dharmendra, who was subjected to false media reports about his death. The war veteran actor’s fans were left distressed when numerous fake posts surfaced claiming the actor aged 89 had breathed his last.
She took to Instagram to clear the air affirming that her father is indeed alive and recovering. She expressed displeasure about the spreading of rumour saying, “The media and some social sites were overdrive spreading false news without verification.”
“My father is stable and recovering. Please do not believe the rumors. We request everyone to respect our family’s privacy,” she said. Esha thanked Dharmendra’s fans for praying and worrying about him, stating: “Your love means the world to us, and we are grateful for the positive energy you continue to send for papa’s recovery.”
The clarification was a huge relief for all fans and members of the Bollywood film fraternity who were taken aback and had already started sending condolences many hours before Esha’s post across social media. The celebrities and close family friends immediately retweeted Esha’s post, cautioning everyone against sharing unverified information regarding the health of the veteran star.
