Will you be able to believe if i say that, an actress could also get scammed by an online store?
Sounds impossible, right?..But in this technology-driven era it is possible to scam even a tech-professional.So, why not an actress?
Bollywood director Karan Johar recently, in an interview made an interesting revelation.
According to Karan Johar’s words, a famous actress was cheated off Rs. 82,000 by online scammers.
“I know someone close to me who got scammed, I can’t mention her name, she won’t like it,” he said.
Karan explained that the actress was impressed by an advertisement for a limited edition designer costume on Instagram.
The product which was originally worthy of Rs. 4.5L was being sold at just Rs. 82K. This caught the actress’ attention and she DMed them. As soon as she received the reply from the store, they asked her to sent money through her UPI ID. Ill-fate, is what we call it, but the actress never received her purchase.

Karan Johar made this revelation during a segment of the Con-versation Podcast which has now went viral on social media.
As soon as the director shared this story the social media users took their turns to guess the name of the actresses who could have possibly got scammed. Most of the people told it could be Alia Bhatt. Where as, some mentioned Kiara Advani and Kajol as well.
However, the internet is now throwing humorous remarks on the actresses-who they think is the victim of this online-scam incident. Netizens are making speculations about the actress’ identity. It is evident that, a normal citizen goes through several scams in their day-to-day life. But, if the person who is getting scammed is a celebrity, it’ll shock the internet!
