India’s first AI Movie: “Naisha” trailer released

The first AI-powered movie in India, Naisha, gets an official trailer. It is slated for release in theaters in May 2025 and stars Zain Kapoor and Naisha Bose, both of whom are virtual celebrities.


The trailer showcases the possibilities of artificial intelligence in filmmaking while offering a preview of a futuristic plot. The film, which was directed by Vivek Anchalia and produced by Joseph Franklin, Pori Bhuyan, and Shweta Sharma Anchalia, attempts to transform storytelling by skillfully fusing AI-generated images and characters.

Zain, a stand-up comedian, rapper, and swimmer, and Naisha, who is of Bengali and Mizo heritage, are introduced in the trailer. They become close once their paths intersect. Zain doesn’t reciprocate Naisha’s romantic feelings for him because he doesn’t think love exists. They eventually split up. Naisha later becomes a well-known actress. The main premise of the movie may revolve around what happens between the two following this.

This groundbreaking project’s creator and director, filmmaker Vivek Anchalia, returns to viewers with his storytelling prowess. Anchalia, who co-wrote the Netflix Original Rajma Chawal and directed “Tikdam” for Jio Hotstar, views “Naisha” as a turning point in Bollywood’s adoption of artificial intelligence.

“We’re combining the storytelling prowess of human storytelling and Indian music with the technological wonder of artificial intelligence (AI) in ‘Naisha’ to produce stories that resonate with a wide range of viewers. Despite technological advancements in digital entertainment and film, this is a completely new field. Anchalia tells an Indian portal.

“AI allows us to push boundaries and make what was previously impossible a reality.”The outstanding musical roster of “Naisha” also includes contributions from well-known industry veterans. Two captivating pieces, “Manmaniyaan” and “Ruhaniyaan,” both performed by Madhubanti Bagchi, were composed by Daniel B. George, the celebrated composer who created the original music for “Andhadhun,” “Johnny Gaddar,” “Merry Christmas,” “Bellbottom,” “Bawaal,” and more. Additionally, Protijyoti Ghosh and Ujjwal Kashyap are the composers of “Cheater Saiyaan” and “Jaane Kahan,” respectively.

Tuk Tuk AI Song:
Recently, India’s first AI music video was released in Telugu. Music Director Santhu Omkar composed the “Tuk Tuk” song. The song and video are completely made with the help of AI. This track is a musical revolution, blending AI-powered visuals with soulful melodies.
