Is Shahid’s Deva Release Date Moved Up to Compete with Vicky’s Chhaava? The most awaited films of Bollywood “Deva” and “Chhaava” got new release dates. Directed by Rosshan Andrrews Deva stars Shahid Kapoor and Pooja Hegde in lead roles. Chhaava directed by Laxman Utekar features Vicky Kaushal and national crush Rashmika Mandanna. Recent reports suggest the postponement in the release of films to avoid clashing. The several postponements of the films led to a lack of interest in the film. Here are the new release dates of Deva and Chhaava.

Deva New Release Date

Deva starring Shahid Kapoor and Pooja Hegde in lead roles was initially set to hit the theatres on 2025 Valentine’s Day. But reports suggest a postponement in the film’s release. The Valentine’s Day film got postponed to avoid a clash with Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava. After postponing the film from 14th February 2025, the film finally locked its new release date. Shahid Kapoor’s Deva is all set to hit the theatres on 31st January 2025. The Action thriller will now hit the theatres 2 weeks from its initial release date.

Chhaava New Release Date

As per the reports, the makers of Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava are planning to release the film on a more meaningful day for the film. Vicky Kaushal’s Chhavva will hit the theatres on its new release date. Initially scheduled to release on 6th December 2024. Chhaava is postponed to avoid a clash with Pan Indian film Pushpa 2: The Rule. Mark your calenders for 14th Febuary 2024. The makers are planning to release the film coinciding with Maharaja Shivaji Jayanti on 19th February. Though the official announcement is yet to be made, the film is already one of the highly anticipated films.

Deva Vs Chhaava Clash

Initially, Chhaava is scheduled to hit the theatres on 6th December 2024. To avoid a clash with Allu Arjun’s film Pushpa 2: The Rule Chhaava postponed its release to 14th November 2024. But 14th February 2024 has been locked for Shahid Kapoor’s Deva. But makers of Deva have postponed their film to avoid a clash with Chhaava and are now scheduled to hit the theatres on 31st January 2025 coming to theatres 2 weeks before its release date.
