Is it possible to become an actor in Bollywood without any godfather? Is it easy to have a long career and not be forgotten? If you look at actors like John Abraham, the answer is yes. From a most-desirable model to starting his career with Jism, his story is an inspiration. Furthermore, the Pathaan actor is still in demand, and his recent outing ‘The Diplomat’ is doing decent at the box office. Without a godfather, John Abraham did it all by himself.

In a recent interview, actor John Abraham said he belongs to a minority that no one has a problem with. He calls himself a proud Indian.

Known to be outspoken, John opened up about several things in a recent interview. When asked if minorities in India are safe, Joh Abraham said – “I love my country, and I feel so safe in it. So, people who use that as a crucifixion excuse—I mean, I’m a living example. Probably, I come from a minority that no one has a problem with. I don’t know. Who would have a problem with the Parsis? Talking about myself, I feel very safe in this country and I feel proud about being Indian. I also feel that there’s probably no one more Indian than I am. I’ve got this chip on my shoulder where I feel I carry the Indian flag everywhere.”

When asked about nepotism in the industry, John said he has no problem with it. Also, the industry has been very kind to him. “A doctor’s son can become a doctor. The industrialist’s son becomes an industrialist. However, the difference here is that they are educated. They have to go to education. Here, I don’t have a problem,” John further added.

John Abraham is busy with back-to-back films. The Dhoom star is not in hurry but choosing quality content over quantity. Unlike many actors, John enjoys a long career. Besides acting, he is also producing films that are out-of-the-box storylines.
