Karan Johar’s Review Raises Questions: Is Loveyapa Really a Hit? Loveyapa starring Khushi Kapoor and Junaid Khan is all set to hit the theatres on 7th February 2025. This romantic comedy is the official remake of the Tamil hit film Love Today. Now the makers are planning to bring back the romantic comedy to the Bollywood audience with a twist. The film Loveyapa marks the theatrical debut of both Sridevi-Boney Kapoor’s younger daughter Khushi Kapoor and Aamir Khan’s elder son Junaid Khan. The romantic comedy will soon hit the theatres coinciding with Valentine’s week making the romantic comedy perfect for couples celebrating love. Today on 4th February 2025, acclaimed director Karan Johar took to his official Instagram handle and reviewed Loveyapa and the performance of newcomers Khushi Kapoor and Junaid Khan. He shared the poster from the film Loveyapa featuring Khushi and Junaid making the signature pose of their title track. He then added a long heartfelt note praising the star kids.

Karan’s Praise For Khushi And Junaid

Along with the poster Karan captioned the long note that read, “Drum roll for 2025 first love story success story… #loveyapa talks to the Tech and App obsessed Gen Z with a love story that is hugely entertaining and makes solid points with brevity and precision.” He then went on to praise the star kids and the director for their performance in the film and said, “it’s what you genuinely call a great time at the movies!!!! You will fall in love with all the characters ( terrific ensemble ) and root for the magical and endearing leads #junaidkhan and @khushikapoor … I can happily watch the film again and top credit to director @advaitchandan for bringing pace, relentless energy, humour, emotion and solid storytelling to the fore!!!”

Karan Johar then finally concluded by conveying his best wishes for the cast and wrote, “Congratulations to Madhu Mantena, Shrishti Behl and the entire cast and crew of the best popcorn ride I have had at the movies in a while!”
