Vivek Oberoi has been always open about his thoughts and expressed his opinions without holding them back. in his new interview, he expressed his opinion on the growing space in the film industry due to the lack of dominant males. According to Vivek Amitabh Bachchan were the dominant actor in the 70s and today’s generation of actors lacks to show that type of dominance in the industry. he further mentioned Sunny Deol, Ajay Devgn, and Sanjay Dutt and praised them for filling the gap after Bachchan. However, he says that the gap is empty again as the newcomers fail to fill it.
He shaped his thoughts by questioning, “Tell me, who is the next Sunny Deol? There isn’t. Who is the next Ajay Devgn? There isn’t. Who is the next Sanjay Dutt? There isn’t a person who can just walk in and own the room.” He said the actors in the past they just didn’t act they created an aura of strength. They had impressive screen presence and the veteran actors carried themselves with confidence.
Oberoi praised South movies. He said that South movies have now achieved the magnetism that is lacking in Bollywood. He took the names of southern stars like Allu Arjun and Yash and Prabhas and said that they had established themselves as the dominant personalities of the Southern film industry.
Give his opinion on how he would differentiate a boy and a man Vivek said, “A boy walks into the room hoping that he can please everyone. A man walks into the room, knowing he doesn’t have to please anyone.”
