Pakistani famous actress Mahira Khan imitated the iconic Chand Nawab video in a railway station on the occasion of Eid. Reporter Chand Nawab also served as the inspiration for Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s portrayal of a Pakistani journalist in the 2015 Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor movie Bajrangi Bhaijaan. The actress latest post on the occasion of eid is going viral on internet.
With a microphone and irritated looks, Mahira embraces her inner Chand Nawab while wearing a gorgeous red salwar suit. She then pretended to be reporting, following the format of the original Eid video produced by journalist Chand Nawab.

In an amusing throwback to the original, a bystander photobombed the scene during Mahira Khan’s fictional reporting session, and she was then seen becoming irritated. This precisely captured the spirit of the famous Chand Nawab video. In the caption, she wrote, “Eid aaney waali hai aur Train station pe shoot thi – Chaand Nawab toh banta hai”
In interviews, Mahira has constantly mentioned how much she admires Shah Rukh Khan. Rahul Dholakia directed the 2017 film Raees, in which the two costarred. The film, which also starred Nawazuddin Siddiqui, made ₹281.45 crore globally and was a commercial success.
