NTR is gearing up for the release of his much awaited Bollywood debut action film War 2. The film’s cinematographer Benjamin Jasper reveals exciting details from the shoot.

War 2 is India most celebrated action sequel from Yash Raj Spy Universe Films directed by Ayan Mukerji and funded by Aditya Chopra under the banner Yash Raj Films . The action drama film stars Hrithik Roshan, Jr. NTR, Kiara Advani, and Anil Kapoor. It marks direct sequel to the 2019 movie War and is made with an estimated budget of Rs 200 crores and is expected to be bigger and more spectacular than its predecessor.

The action sequel’s Cinematographer Benjamin Jasper took to his Instagram and shared his excitement  penned a note. He stated Heading into my last shoot day of the year. That is a wrap of the year, 2024 still on the same movie as 2023, shot red, phantom  shot all kinds of arry and my fav and workhouse the S35 in Italy, Spain , UAE, India. Done night shoots. Shot on water, air, cars, trains, helicopters & planes.

A cine critc also revealed that film shoot wrpaed, he wrote,” It’s a wrap for the final schedule of #War2. Get ready to witness the magic of #HrithikRoshan, #JrNTR, and #AyanMukerji in this action-packed spectacle!

The India much awaited sequel film’s Principal photography began in October 2023 and has been filmed in Mumbai, Salamanca, Abu Dhabi, Kashmir, and Italy. The Italy shoot for War 2 began on September 18, 2024 and lasted for about 15 days. 

The shoot included filming a romantic song in picturesque locations like Venice, Tuscany, Lake Como, Naples, Amalfi Coast, and Sorrento Peninsula. Pritam is composing the music, Aarif Sheikh is editing the movie, and Abbas Tryewala is handling the dialogues.

War 2 is scheduled to be released in theaters worldwide on August 14, 2025 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
