Padmaavat Re-release Announced: Deepika and Ranveer’s Classic Returns. Padmaavat, starring Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor made its grand theatrical debut back in 2018. The film was an instant hit made with a massive budget of Rs 250 crore. The epic saga of heroism directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali was released on 25th January 2018 and now the film is all set to find its way again to theatres. Today on 22nd January 2025, the makers of Padmaavat along with production broke the news of a re-release on the internet. They took their official social media and unveiled the special re-release poster of Padmaavat. The newly released poster features Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor. sharing the poster the makers announced the re-release of the film on 24th January 2025 in theatres. The makers wrote, “Witness the epic tale on the big screen again. #Padmaavat in cinemas on 24th January.” So don’t miss out on the epic masterpiece of Deepika Padukone on big screens soon.

All About Padmaavat

Set in 1303 AD medieval India, Padmaavat is the story of honour, valour and obsession. Queen Padmavati(Deepika Padukone) is known for her exceptional beauty along with a strong sense of justice. And is the wife of Maharawal Ratan Singh(Shahid Kapoor) and the pride of the Kingdom of Chittor, a prosperous kingdom in the northwest of India. The legend of her beauty reaches the reigning sultan of Hindustan – Allaudin Khilji(Ranveer Singh). He then declares war on their kingdom due to his obsession with her. What happens next is the rest of the story. Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, made with a budget of Rs 250 crore and collected Rs Rs 302.15 crore making it the third highest-grossing film of the year.
