During a discussion, Karan Johar made a statement that SS Rajamouli’s films don’t make sense and he can’t find logic in it.

He added on saying that, even though Rajamouli‘s films lack logic, the audience find it captivating.
Karan Johar put forward his opinions on storytelling and film making as well. In an interview with Komal Nahata Karan stated, “Conviction is very important. If you look at anything, especially if you analyse the journey of the best film makers, you’ll see that the biggest hits are built on conviction. Logic doesn’t matter in a film. Take any film by Rajamouli sir, for example. Where do you see logic? You only see conviction. And when conviction comes to the forefront, even the audience believes in it.”

Karan Johar pointed out, how major movies like RRR, Animal and all are successful. He mentions that, it is the sign of a good film maker to convince the people to think a single man can defeat thousand people alone.

He added on by praising the film makers and telling, such commitment should be there for every film makers so that the movies can create a huge box office success.

Karan also set the example of Anil Sharma who was able to do such a convincing work with Sunny Deol in Gadar.

According to Karan, difficulty comes when filmmakers start to question themselves, doubt  their audience, and gives more focus on the logic.
