In the next episode of season two of The Great Indian Kapil Show, veteran actress Rekha will make a guest appearance.
The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 2 will have a guest appearance by the iconic actress Rekha. As the actress adds her grace and charm to the show and has a lively discussion with Kapil Sharma, it will surely be an episode that viewers won’t want to miss. In addition to revealing that Rekha is a fan of Kaun Banega Crorepati, the commercial offers a sneak peek at what to expect from the episode.
As Kapil Sharma brings her to the stage, Rekha looks stunning in a gorgeous golden saree, crimson blouse, traditional jewelry, and a bun adorned with red roses. During their conversation, Kapil Sharma shares with her his experience at the well-known quiz program Kaun Banega Crorepati. This leads the actress to admit that, like millions of other people, she enjoys the show hosted by Amitabh Bachchan.
Kapil Sharma says, “Humlog KBC khel rahe the Bachchan saab ke sath. Mummy samne baithi thi. Unhone mummy se puch liya, ‘Devi ji kya khake paida kiya hain?’ (While we were playing KBC with Bachchan sahab, my mother was sitting in the front row and he asked her, ‘What did you eat before giving birth to her)?’”)” Before Kapil Sharma could add his mother’s response, the actress replies, “Dal, roti?” The comedian laughs out and says, “Daal, phulka.” Then Rekha smiles and adds, “Mujhse puchiye na, ek ek dialogue yaad hain. (Ask me, I remember every dialogue).”
For those who are unaware, Rekha and Amitabh Bachchan collaborated on a number of films during the 1970s and 1980s, including Namak Haraam, Do Anjaane, Silsila, Alaap, and Khoon Pasina. Even while Amitabh was married to Jaya Bachchan, there were rumors that they were having an affair. But according to accounts, the performers called it quits on the affair in the early 1980s.
Returning to season 2, Kapil Sharma, Sunil Grover, Kiku Sharda, Krushna Abhishek, Rajiv Thakur, and Archana Puran Singh are all featured on The Great Indian Kapil Show. Every Saturday at 8 PM, a new episode of the show premieres on Netflix.
