Sai Pallavi Replaced Srinidhi Shetty: Ranbir Kapoor as Rama and Sai Pallavi as Sita, Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana is the most anticipated project in Indian cinema currently. The epic, which will release in two parts, has already generated huge excitement for its large canvas and star-studded cast. While Sai Pallavi has already been finalised to play Sita, KGF actress Srinidhi Shetty was recently spotted attending an audition for the same role.

Srinidhi’s audition experience

During an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Srinidhi Shetty talked about her experience undergoing an audition to play Sita. She stated that she properly prepared three scenes for the screen test, for which the response from the casting team was favourable. Rumors were rife at that point that her KGF co-star Yash was going to enact Ravana’s role in the movie. Srinidhi confessed that she had imagined herself as Sita to Yash’s Raavan, but also shared her apprehensions regarding how the audience would take their pairing in other roles after their success in KGF 2.

Appreciating the casting of Sai Pallavi

Terming her a “great choice” to play Sita, Srinidhi praised Sai Pallavi. “I love seeing her as Sita in this movie. When something is working, it’s wonderful; when something isn’t working, it’s still wonderful because new doors open for you.” Her positive words are a testament to her good attitude and respect for her co-actress.

Srinidhi Upcoming Projects

Even after missing Ramayanam, Srinidhi Shetty is looking forward to her next major release, HIT: The Third Case, where she shares screen space with Nani. Directed by Sailesh Kolanu, the movie will be released in the theatres on May 1, 2025. With her increasing number of films, Srinidhi makes her mark in the industry.
