Salman Khan’s Eid Releases: On hearing the name of Salman Khan on the occasion of Eid, a smile comes on the face of the fans. His films make this festival more special. However, it is not at all that every Eid release of Salman has rocked the box office. Some films failed to win the hearts of the audience despite being released on Eid. Let’s take a look at those films of Salman.
Fans had high expectations from ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ released on Eid in the year 2023. The audience was eager to see Salman’s action and the magic of Farhad Samji’s direction. The film also had stars like Pooja Hegde and Venkatesh, but the weak story and screenplay took it away from the audience. Salman’s magic of mass appeal did not work this time, and the film fell flat on its face at the box office.
‘Race 3’ was released on the occasion of Eid in 2018. This action thriller starred Salman along with stars like Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Jacqueline Fernandez. The film was directed by Remo D’Souza. Being the third part of the ‘Race’ franchise, there was a lot of discussion about the film. Weak story and dialogue spoiled the game of this film. This film also could not perform well according to the budget.

Salman tried something different in ‘Tubelight’ which was released on Eid in 2017. This film, directed by Kabir Khan, was based on an emotional story. Salman played the role of an ordinary man in it, who is struggling to find his brother. Shahrukh Khan also had a cameo in the film. But the slow pace and weak script of the film disappointed the audience. Despite being released on the occasion of Eid, this film could not do wonders at the box office.
‘Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge’ was released on the occasion of Eid in 2002. The film was directed by Pankaj Parasher. Dia Mirza and Sushmita Sen also played important roles in this film along with Salman. It was an action drama, in which Salman’s character is in search of the truth after losing his memory. However, this film could not captivate the audience at that time.
