Now the actress has candidly addressed the trolls she faced after divorce and the challenges she faced battling the Myositis. During Citadel: Honey Bunny Samantha suggested her replacements for her role in the series. Here’s everything she said in the interview.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu took a long break in her career after Kushi due to her health condition. At that time the actress had commitments, She signed the spy universe series Citadel: Honey Bunny with Director Duo Raj and Dk alongside Varun Dhawan. She expressed her excitement for the series and never expected that she would suggest some other’s name for her role.
Samantha felt that she couldn’t pull off an action thriller with her health condition, So Samantha suggested some other replacements for Raj and Dk. The Kushi actress said, “I actually sent them Kiara’s pictures and Kriti’s pictures. I remember sending them like four, saying ‘Oh my God, she is so hot. Just look at her. She will be amazing doing action.”
But Raj and DK never considered her replacement options and insisted on Samantha to do the series. When recieved the replacement options from Samantha, the directors said, We knew Kiara Advani and Kriti Sanon and You didn’t have to introduce us to the actresses. They believed in her so much that they waited for Samantha to start filming the series and that really paid off after the release of Citadel: Honey Bunny.
Citadel: Honey Bunny made it digital on 7th November 2024. Starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Varun Dhawan in lead roles, the series is highly anticipated as this marks the return of Samantha. After taking a long break due to her health issues, Sam is back with an action thriller. The series was directed by Raj and DK and produced by The Russo Brothers and Raj & DK.
