Shah Rukh Khan’s Iconic ‘Veer Zaara’ To Hit Theaters Again. Veer Zaara, which crossed Rs 100 crore at the worldwide box office with its India re-release, is about to take the international box office by storm as it re-releases in 600 cinemas.
Veer Zaara, directed by Yash Chopra and starring Shah Rukh Khan, Preity Zinta, and Rani Mukerji, is one of the most popular Indian films of all time. Despite a big clash around Diwali 2004, Veer Zaara became the highest-grossing Indian film of the year in India, overseas, and globally. The film grossed Rs 98 crore during its original run. The classic exceeded Rs 100 crore at the global box office as a result of repeated re-releases in India, the most significant of which occurred in September 2024.
With a total worldwide gross of around Rs 104 crore, the Shah Rukh Khan, Preity Zinta, and Rani Mukerji film is now preparing for an international re-release, with a focus on traditional international markets such as North America, the Middle East, the United Kingdom and Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore, and South Africa, beginning November 7, 2024, to commemorate its 20th anniversary. This is the first time an already-released Indian film has received such widespread foreign re-release.

It are not only producing fresh, enticing films for the big screen, but they are also preserving the heritage of their classics. They were the first, and perhaps only, production firm to provide exhibitors free screenings of their films in theaters after Covid struck hard. Despite the pandemic, no theatrical release of YRF was sold for direct digital distribution. They kept their commitment and released all of their films exclusively in theaters.
