Meanwhile, the actor’s lawyer has made a shocking statement while reacting to this matter. His lawyer said that Sunita filed for divorce six months ago. However, at present, the couple’s relationship is strong.
A day after the news of Govinda-Sunita divorce rumours, the actor’s lawyer told India Today that Govinda and Sunita’s relationship is going strong. Lalit Bindal is also a family friend of Govinda. He said that Sunita Ahuja had filed for divorce about six months ago. However, later things were resolved and the couple is living together again and the relationship is strong.
The lawyer said, ‘We went to Nepal on New Year. There we did pooja-archana at Pashupatinath temple. Now everything is fine between both. He further said, ‘Such things keep happening between married couples, but they are strong relationships. We will always stay together.
Lalit Bindal also rejected the fact that Govinda and his wife live in separate apartments. He said that Govinda bought this bungalow for his official use after becoming an MP and it is right in front of the flat in which he has been living since his marriage. He said that Govinda sometimes attends meetings and sometimes even sleeps in the bungalow. But, their married life is fine. He and Sunita live together.
Regarding the rumours going on social media, the lawyer said that the things said by Sunita Ahuja in podcasts and some places are being conveniently picked up. And these are being used against both of them. Like she said, ‘I don’t want a husband like Govinda’. She also said that she wants a son like Govinda. And when she said that ‘Govinda is with his valentine’, she further said that for Govinda, his work itself is his valentine. The lawyer said, ‘Sadly people are only saying negative things. I guarantee that both will stay together. There is no divorce’.
