There are also many speculations that the Koffee With Kara show is exclusively to promote Alia Bhatt. No one has ever confirmed it, But the comparison between Janhvi Kapoor and Jacqueline Fernandez is proof of Karan being a Nepo King.

Though her answer seemed scripted and fake, this impressed Karan Johar. After this season, Janhvi was offered four films and got a breakthrough in her career.
Coming to the Koffee With Karan, This talk show is one of the most watched and the most hated talk shows. The exposure that he gets either way on a positive note or a negative note. He takes it as a privilege. Many actors are now refusing to attend Koffee with Karan like Anushka Sharma, and Ranbir Kapoor etc. But these actors have also attended the talk show multiple times during their initial stage of careers.
