Vicky Kaushal has worked very hard for this film. Praising Vicky, the film’s director Laxman Utekar says that he has played the character of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj with all his heart. In an interview, Laxman Utekar said that Vicky has worked very hard for the torture scene. He was tied with a rope all night. He said that despite the pain Vicky did not step back and kept doing his work. However, Vicky also got injured and had to take a break of one and a half months.
In the same interview, Talking to Bollywood Hungama, the director said that Vicky had kept his hands tied all night for the shooting of the torture sequence in Chhava. Due to this his hands became numb. Vicky was forced to take leave because of his hand’s condition for one and half months. The makers have completely removed the set for the period of Vicky Kaushal’s leave. And rebuilt the set after Vicky is back for shooting.
