For the past few days, Udit Narayan has been facing legal challenges from his first wife. His first wife Ranjana Jha has filed a case against him for not giving her monthly expenses. She approached the Bihar Women’s Commission for this case and once both parties agreed on a settlement.

But right now, she is requesting through her lawyer that she stay with him for the rest of her life because of her bad health conditions. She also claimed that he ignored her after he sold one of the land and got around 18 lakhs. Ranjana Jha and Udit Narayan got married in 1984, and according to his first wife, he started ignoring her after he got fame and money.

According to the sources, after they got divorced Udit has agreed to pay for her monthly expenses and for her daily needs. There is a rumor that he has given lots of money and even a property to stay in. But, Ranjana claims that whenever she visits Mumbai to see him, Udit used to send goons after her.

According to the reports stated by Udit Narayan he used to provide Ranjana Rs. 15,000 per month which later he increased to 25,000 per month. This continued for several months. In the report, it is stated that he also gave his land for farming and also a house worth 1 crore.

There is a rumor that she sold the jewelry which he gave worth 25 lakh and also the farm land.

After he gained fame and popularity in Mumbai he started distancing himself from him and he got married to Deepa Gahatraj in 1985 and shared a son, Aditya Narayan with her. Earlier this week during a hearing in Supaul family court, he refused to agree to the settlement with Ranjana and stated that she is trying to extort money from him.
