Elon Musk to Be World’s First Trillionaire? Tesla’s Pay Package Revealed

World’s First Trillionaire: According to the media sources, the US-based electric vehicle manufacturing company Tesla Inc. has offered its billionaire founder and CEO, Elon Musk, a whopping 1 trillion dollars compensation package. The idea, according to the agency report, is intended to encourage Elon Musk to steer Tesla in the years ahead as the business strives to meet several goals.

As per the sources, Musk will get the entire payout if he meets these goals and grows Tesla’s robotaxi division to a minimum market value of $8.5 trillion during the following ten years. Elon Musk’s stake in Tesla might rise to 25% with the additional shares he may receive, according to Tesla’s proxy filing, which the news agency cited.

Elon Musk Salary Details:

The Bloomberg Billionaire Index, which ranks the world’s wealthiest people, lists Elon Musk as the richest person on Earth as of September 5, 2025, with a net worth of $378 billion. A Delaware court initially valued Musk’s 2018 compensation package at nearly $50 billion but later overturned that figure, agency reports said. In early August, Tesla’s board of directors granted Musk an interim stock award worth about $30 billion while exploring alternative ways to compensate him.

Under the new incentive scheme, Musk plans to keep focusing on Tesla while expanding into areas like robotics and artificial intelligence. Government assessments indicate that if Musk meets the performance goals tied to this massive pay package, the value of his CEO rewards could soar from $87.8 billion to $1 trillion.
