Gold in November 2025:
Despite global and domestic market instability, gold prices performed strongly in October 2025, rising by nearly 5% to reach a monthly high of ₹1,32,294 per 10 grams. Silver also followed this upward trend, touching a record ₹1,70,415 per kilogram. Experts believe this rally was driven by multiple factors, including festive season demand, expectations of a U.S. Federal Reserve rate cut, and large gold purchases by central banks across the world.
According to Rahul Kalantri, Vice President of Commodities at Mehta Equities, gold could face mild pressure in November despite its recent strength. He noted that if prices fall below $4,000 per ounce, the bullion market may witness short-term weakness. However, he expects gold to remain stable between $3,850 and $4,170 per ounce in the international market.
In India, Kalantri suggests that traders consider buying gold if prices drop to around ₹1,17,500, as there could be room for profits at that level. On the other hand, he warned that buying above ₹1,22,000 might lead to losses, as the price could face resistance beyond that range.
Meanwhile, ICICI Direct’s report mentioned that ongoing central bank purchases, trade tensions, and global economic uncertainty will continue to support gold prices in the near term. However, the U.S. dollar’s strength and the possibility that the Federal Reserve may pause rate cuts in December could bring short-term corrections.
IIFL Securities’ Anuj Gupta also added that improved trade talks between the U.S. and China may reduce the demand for gold as a safe-haven asset. Yet, if geopolitical tensions rise again, gold prices could bounce back quickly.
Overall, analysts expect gold to trade between ₹1,16,000 and ₹1,22,000 per 10 grams in November 2025, while silver may stay firm due to strong industrial demand. Experts recommend cautious buying during dips to maximize potential profits.
