Mark Zuckerberg: People around the globe never imagined that we could connect with another human being who is living a life from another part of the world. This became reality when the internet boom started in the late 1990s. After years of buffering, the internet picked up its speed in the early 2000s, and that’s when social media started to develop.
In 2010, Harvard dropout Mark Zuckerberg founded Facebook. The platform spread worldwide like wildfire and grew into a billion-dollar company within three to five years. History now remembers Mark Zuckerberg as the man who invented Facebook. But today, a viral incident in the business world shows a lawyer named Mark S. Zuckerberg suing Meta for banning his Facebook account.
Reasons for Mark suing Facebook:
Mark S. Zuckerberg, a bankruptcy lawyer from Indiana, USA, says Facebook banned his account five times in the last eight years for impersonating a celebrity. He argues that these repeated bans cost him thousands of dollars in lost business. He says he submitted his identification to the platform numerous times, yet the issue kept repeating, which pushed him to sue Meta. He filed the lawsuit in Marion Superior Court, arguing that Facebook’s parent company breached its contract by taking down $11,000 worth of advertising he had paid for.

In an interview with WTHR-TV, Mark said, ‘It’s not funny. It’s like buying a billboard on the side of the highway, paying for it, and then having someone cover it with a blanket. You don’t get the benefit of what you paid for.’ He said he contacted the company several times. But it gave him no proper attention. That pushed him to take legal action.
The company resolved the issue earlier and even apologized for its mistake. Mark submitted his identification documents, credit cards, and several pictures of himself. Yet the company banned his account again. The problem keeps repeating. He now considers it a serious threat to his profession.
