City Fuel Prices

In Hyderabad, petrol is at ₹107.39 with diesel at ₹95.41.

Reasons for Difference in Fuel Prices
India’s fuel pricing mechanism works on the basis of a dynamic pricing system, wherein the domestic price is in conjunction with international crude oil rates. Final price differences exist between the regions mainly due to state government VAT, central excise duty, and local levies. This is why customers in one city may pay more or less than another, even though they start from the same base rate.
