Arjun S/O Vyjayanthi Day 1 Collections: Actor Kalyan Ram, who recently appeared in his blockbuster Patas, is again back with his latest movie, Arjun S/O Vyjayanthi, which hit the screens on April 18, 2025. The action drama film Pradeep Chilikuri starring the veteran actress Vijaya Shanthi was a biggie venture. Though the movie has been getting mixed responses, hard promotions have helped the movie achieve a good opening.

Day 1 Box Office Collection

As per early reports, Arjun S/O Vyjayanthi collected ₹5.15 crore (net) on its opening day worldwide. The movie got a boost due to the lacklustre response of Odela 2, featuring Tamannaah Bhatia, which failed to impress at the box office and provided a boost to Kalyan Ram’s latest film. While the critics claimed that the story followed a formulaic path, the presentation and direction of the movie kept the viewers hooked in the movie.

Engaging Performances & Emotional Climax

The movie is all about a mother-son conflict. With Vijaya Shanthi being a police officer, and her son, Kalyan Ram, opting for rebellion. The final 20 minutes of the movie which are emotive and thrilling action. Have been enjoyed, with the performance of Vijaya Shanthi.

But Sohail Khan, his debut in Telugu as a prime villain received criticism for his act. A few of the spectators grumbled that his act wasn’t very intense.

Audience Reactions & OTT Release Rumours

Though the film has gone on to take in a satisfactory first-day sum. Its pedestrian narrative left mixed reactions behind, a few of them panning its predictability, so reminiscent of the aesthetic of 1990s Telugu cinema.
