On day three, Azaad earned ₹1.85 crore nett in India, bringing total earnings to ₹4.65 crore. With an 11.66% Hindi occupancy on Sunday, Azaad has become the biggest opener for newcomer films post-COVID-19 pandemic, showcasing its impressive debut of Rasha Thadani and Aman Devgn.
The film moves forward at a slow pace like many films and this has been a minus point for the debut of these star kids. While the filmmaker did not have the urge to take the story forward in time. But he was so relaxed and did not bother to put enough story in the film to make it interesting for a while. These talents deserve better scripts and better filmmakers.
