Chhaava Advance Bookings: South India Booms Amid Hindi State Instability. Valantine’s Day one of the most awaited releases is Chhaava. The action-adventure film is all set to make its grand theatrical debut on 14th February 2025 coinciding with Valentine’s day. Chhaava starring Vicky Kaushal, and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles also stars Akshaye Khanna as the main antagonist. Yesterday on 9th February 2025, the makers along with lead actors officially opened the advance bookings with a grand event. The film with a UA certificate was made with A budget of around Rs 130 crore. According to this, the film will have to take an opening of at least Rs 26 crore on the first day to be a hit, but before the release, the film has faced some challenges.
If we look at the advance booking of the film ‘Chhava’ state-wise, the biggest contribution has been from Telangana state whose share is about 14 per cent in the advance booking of Rs 2.5 crore, Maharashtra is in the second place whose audience’s contribution in this advance booking is 13 per cent, Then The maximum advance tickets have been sold in Tamil Nadu which is about 11 per cent of the total advance booking of the film ‘Chhava’. The trend of block tickets and corporate booking is also said to have started in these three states with the film ‘Pathan’ last year. The share of other states booking tickets for ‘Chhava’ is even more surprising.
Chhava releasing on 14th February 2025 coinciding with Valentine’s Day comes with heavy competition from already existing movies. As the month of love is going on, some of the most cherished films were re-released. among them, Sanam Teri Kasam stood first with huge collections. There’s an international sensation Christopher Nolan Interstellar at theatres. Along with some other small releases, Chhaava will enter the competition with huge hopes. With the intense trailer, fans are eagerly waiting for the film’s release.
