Mass Jathara Day 1 Box Office Collections: Ravi Teja’s newest movie, an action drama called Mass Jathara, saw a theatrical release on October 31, 2025. The movie received a fair amount of buzz from fans’ expectations. With these underwhelming first-day numbers, concerns have arisen whether Mass Jathara would make some sort of money at the other end of the release. Trade expectations put the collection for the first day somewhere between ₹2.58 crore and ₹3.5 crore all over India. Given the huge mass entertaining spectacle with Ravi Teja, a lower figure for the first day has led market experts to speculate about cost recovery in the following days.
What Went Wrong On The Day Of Opening
Weak Advance Bookings
Mass Jathara had not done so well in advance ticketing sales leading up to its release, hence the number amounting to only about ₹80 lakh was poor. These are quite miserable numbers denoting hardly any expectations from the general moviegoer public. This in effect directly reflected upon the opening day performance.
Now, Mass Jathara had to fight through its release-somewhat against the re-release of Baahubali: The Epic. Baahubali continues to dominate all the screens and draw huge crowds. This new buzz surrounding the re-edited version of the iconic blockbuster definitely took audiences away from Mass Jathara, particularly affecting its reach in the single screens.
Mass Jathara has been made on a really huge budget amounting to around ₹90 crore. With such a huge investment, the film was supposed to post strong numbers during the first weekend. The slow start of the film has raised concerns whether it could recover even half of the investment made, leave aside obtaining an exceptional word of mouth.
Ravi Teja has had a mixed bag in terms of box office prospects over the last few years. Mass Jathara was expected to bring him back into the commercial-kind of spotlight after the lot of average fare. But early reports suggest otherwise, maintaining that very energy and style he is known for. But poor content and tough competition have been a hindrance to its box office potential.

With mere ₹2.58 crore-₹3.5 crore on Day 1, Mass Jathara has fallen far short of expectations. Barring a major growth over the weekend from positive audience feedback, Mass Jathara doesn’t stand a chance in its longevity. For now, this is yet another test for Ravi Teja at the turnstiles, by the following week it will be revealed if Mass Jathara stands a chance in countering or fading out along with his recent outings.
