After the release of the trailer of the film on Sunday, the tremendous craze of the film Bhaijaan is being seen on social media. It is speculated that advance booking of ‘Sikandar’ will start in India from Tuesday. Meanwhile, South superstar Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran’s film ‘L2 Empuraan’ is all set to compete with Salman Khan’s ‘Sikander.’ Even before its release, the film has started making history in advance bookings and has grossed Rs 50 crore worldwide.

According to a report, it sold 628K tickets within 4 hours in the pre-sale that started on March 21. No film has sold more than 350 thousand tickets in the first 24 hours of the opening of advance booking. ‘L2 Ampuraan’ has earned Rs 12 crore in India with the block seat, while worldwide it has crossed the Rs 50 crore mark. It became the first Malayalam film to do so.

Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Malayalam film ‘L2 Empuraan’ is all set to release in theatres on Thursday, March 27. It is an action-thriller film directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran himself. It is produced by Antony Perambavoor and A. Subaskaran. The film is the next instalment of the first part named Lucifer. ‘L2 Empuraan’ stars Mohanlal in the lead role, while Prithviraj Sukumaran, Tovino Thomas, Indrajith Sukumaran, Jerome Flynn, Eric Ebouni, Manju Warrier, Abhimanyu Singh, and Suraj Venjaramudu are in important roles.
The way the movie ‘L2 Empuraan’ is earning in advance bookings, there are speculations that it might become the highest-grossing Malayalam film at the box office after its release. Now it will be interesting to see if Mohanlal’s film will compete with Salman Khan’s ‘Sikandar’ at the box office.
