Salman Khan’s Sikandar Advance Bookings: Pre sales hits 2 crore

Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna starrer “Sikandar” is gearing up for a theatrical release on 30th March, 2025. Now, it is just 4 days away, and the anticipation is high enough to be able to survive even during the IPL season. Another plus point on this film’s anticipation is the record of advance bookings. A day earlier, Salman Khan had shared a post and informed that the advance booking of ‘Sikandar’ has started. As soon as this news came out, Bhaijaan’s fans rushed to book seats for the first day’s show. Tickets were sold on the very first day of advance booking. Let’s know how many tickets Salman Khan’s Sikandar has sold before its release.


Sikandar Advance Bookings:

Directed by ace director AR Murugadoss, ‘Sikandar’ is releasing in theaters on March 30 on the occasion of Eid 2025. According to the latest reports, within a few hours of the opening of advance ticket bookings online across the country, the film sold around 67,276 tickets. These tickets have been sold for a huge number, 9110 shows. In this way, the makers have sold tickets worth Rs 1.92 crore even before the release of the film. With premium seats, this earning has gone up to Rs 6.11 crore.

Delhi at number one

Reportedly, ‘Sikandar’ has achieved the top ranking by selling tickets worth Rs 41.58 lakh in Delhi. In the second place, tickets worth Rs 34.32 lakh were sold in Maharashtra, Rs 8.92 lakh in Gujarat, and Rs 9.21 lakh in Karnataka. Apart from this, positive signals have been received about Salman Khan’s film in West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, and Jammu and Kashmir.

 

The censor board passed the film:

Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna’s starrer film ‘Sikandar’ has been passed by the Central Board of Film Certification. With this, the makers have gotten permission to cut 14 minutes in the film. According to the latest report, the voluntary cuts in ‘Sikander’ include the trimming of 26 scenes, including the removal of a 2-minute 26-second scene (which had the dialogue ‘four missed calls… chalo Rajkot’). Apart from this, a scene of 1 minute 12 seconds of ‘aa gaye aa gaye… bure pati’ and ‘usse leke aata hoon’ has been removed.
