Sikandar Pre-Release: Salman Khan’s much awaited film ‘Sikandar’ is going to be released in theaters on the occasion of Eid. Of course, there is still some time for the release, but the makers have started filling their pockets from now on. The non-theatrical rights of Salman Khan’s upcoming film have been sold, due to which the makers have recovered several percent of the money of the alleged Rs 350 crore budget of ‘Sikandar’ before its release. Fans are eagerly waiting for Salman Khan’s presence in ‘Sikandar’. Through this action film, the superstar will not miss any chance to give Eid to his fans.

How much were the non-theatrical rights sold for?

According to reports, Sajid Nadiadwala, the producer of Salman Khan’s upcoming film ‘Sikandar’, has reportedly made a big deal for the non-theatrical rights of the film. According to a close source, the digital, satellite and music rights of ‘Sikandar’ have been sold for around Rs 165 crore. It has also been said that this earning can increase further depending on the box office decision.

Which OTT platform bought it?

The post-theatrical streaming rights of the film ‘Sikandar’ have been bought by the OTT platform at a base price of Rs 85 crore, which can reach up to 100 crore on theatrical returns of more than 350 crores. Apart from this, the satellite rights of the film have reportedly been sold to Zee. This deal has been done for around Rs 50 crore. While the music rights have been sold to Zee Music Company for around Rs 30 crore.

Expected Theatrical Performance

The deal for the non-theatrical rights of the film Sikandar can be between Rs 165 crore and Rs 180 crore. However, it will also depend largely on theatrical performance. ‘Sikander’ is directed by A.R. Murugadoss, while its producer is Sajid Nadiadwala. Rashmika Mandana will be seen with Salman Khan in the film. Apart from this, Sunil Shetty, Sharman Joshi, Kajal Aggarwal, Prateik Babbar, Satyaraj and Nawab Shah are also in important roles.
