Telusu Kada Box Office Collections: After delivering major hits like Tillu Square and DJ Tillu, Siddhu Jonnalagadda returned to theatres with Telusu Kada, a romantic drama directed by Neeraja Kona. The film arrived with decent buzz and strong pre-release expectations, but the box office reports tell a different story altogether.
Telusu Kada held a fair collection of ₹2.1 crore net on its first day, all because of Siddhu’s appeal among youth audiences and some catchy music promos. Still, the film slowed down considerably over the weekend.
Day 2 (Saturday): ₹1.84 crore (↓ 12.38%)
Day 3 (Sunday): ₹1.66 crore (↓ 9.78%)
Despite the festival atmosphere and low competition, mixed word of mouth took a toll on the repeat footfalls.
By Monday, the BO performance for the film was already on a downhill. ₹1.05 crore was collected on Day 4; Tuesday stood at ₹0.11 crore, showcasing that the film failed to hold any momentum post the opening weekend.
With ₹6.76 crore(India net) in five days, Telusu Kada seems to suffer from survival issues in the theatres. Multiplex audiences complained slow in pace and a never-ending lack of emotional depth, whereas Siddhu’s fans appreciated his mature attempt.
Anyways, this buzz might help Telusu Kada to some extent since the romantic-drama genre tends to do better on OTT platforms. It has put a halt to what should have otherwise been a straight road ahead in Siddhu’s film career.

Telusu Kada showcased Siddhu Jonnalagadda’s versatility, yet the dismal box office numbers remind us how unpredictable audiences can be. This is a lesson that even mega-stardom and terrific hype cannot backstop anything if there is no captivating story backing it up.
