The Great Pre-Wedding Show 3 Days Collections: The Great Pre-wedding Show starring Thiruveer and Teena Sravya was a pleasant surprise at the box office. Written and directed by Rahul Srinivas, this low-budget rom-com deals with the chaos, hilarity, and emotions leading up to a wedding, which has evidently resonated well with young audiences. In spite of the limited promotions and a small release, the film gradually built up the audience over the weekend just through word-of-mouth.
Slow and steady, Day 1 saw an audience who walked into The Great Pre-Wedding Show with some caution on the part of the audience and a box office collection of ₹0.38 crore.
Day 2-Climbing 18% to a healthy ₹0.45 crore on Saturday, the buoyancy was provided by the favourable reviews circulating amongst the viewers.
The Great Pre-Wedding Show was remaining on the incline on Day 3 (Sunday), with an estimated ₹0.50 crore in collection, thus setting the 3-day Indian net total at about ₹1.33 crores.
These figures translate to an approximate Indian gross of ₹1.57 crore and a worldwide gross of ₹1.60 crore. Quite encouraging for a classy rom-com with limited number of screens!
The budget of the film was nominally put at ₹1 crore, inclusive of marketing and promotions. Thus, with the current numbers on the box office, The Great Pre-Wedding Show have already amassed its coproduced costs and gained some profits from its theatrical currency. By the looks of it, the price for digital and music rights-it only gets better.
