Adhira First Look Out: The greatly anticipated Adhira has unveiled its first look and introduced the audience to a powerful superhero from the Prashanth Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU). Kalyan Dasari, son of notable producer DVV Danayya, stars in the film. This marks his grand entry into Telugu cinema. The gripping first-look poster sets up a visual treat of a superhero saga replete with action, mythology, and drama.
There is some finer, uncommon storytelling to go with the film Adhira. Three to four years back, the project was said to have been taken by Prashanth Varma for a remuneration of about ₹2 crores. However, the film did not happen under him then. Interestingly, this time around, rather than directing the film himself, Prashanth Varma has passed the project to one of his own students and associates – director Sharan Koppisetty. This way, mentorship retains the project within the PVCU while at the same time opening a fresh creative space.
The poster gives insight into a raging battle with Kalyan Dasari, indicating an epic struggle of good and evil with SJ Suryah. RKD Studios presents this film, which has music by Sricharan Pakala, production design by Shivendra, and a visual extravaganza tailor-made for IMAX 3D and 4DX and Dolby Cinema. With such an emphasis on high-end technical sophistication, expect a thoroughly absorbing cinema experience.
The success of HanuMan uplifted the expectations from the Prashanth Varma superhero universe, with Adhira thus carrying tremendous buzz. The amalgamation of a debut hero, a recognized antagonist such as SJ Suryah, and the branding of PVCU makes this one of the most ambitious Telugu superhero ventures ever.

The first look of Adhira suggests electrifying action and underlying mythological influences, à la Prashanth Varma’s cinematic universe.
