Alice In Borderland 3: We get it, you’re excited, maybe even a little frustrated. Your favorite character from Alice in Borderland Seasons 1 and 2 hasn’t shown up in the trailers or new promo material. Whether it’s Chishiya, Kuina, Niragi, or Aguni, these characters left a big impact, and it’s totally valid to miss them.

But can we just take a deep breath and refrain from spamming every post, trailer, and livestream chat with “Where’s Chishiya??” or “If [insert name] isn’t in S3, I’m not watching”? It’s everywhere- and frankly, it’s getting out of hand.

In the last fan event that even included subtitles for global fans, the live chat section was swarmed with pleas for missing characters. So much so that Netflix had to intervene and remind everyone to be kind towards the actors who were indeed present on stage —-like Kento Yamazaki, Tao Tsuchiya, and Ayaka Miyoshi —-who have worked this tale with passion and devotion.

Disrespectful Questioning?

It’s beginning to sound disrespectful. Not only to the current cast, but also to the creators who are attempting to bring something fresh to the table. Let’s not forget: Aya Asahina(Kuina) is out on maternity leave, and Nijiro Murakami(Chishiya) has publicly spoken about his depression. Their reasons for stepping away are entirely reasonable.

Yes, it’s alright to miss your beloved characters. It’s alright to wish for cameos or surprise comebacks. But the season isn’t even out yet- can we not be jumping to conclusions?.

Season 3 will be different, and that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Let’s give the new cast a chance and show some respect to the work being put into this new chapter.
