Pradeep Ranganathan: Recently released ‘Dude’ is going steady at the box office. The film stars Mamitha Baiju as the female lead, Sarath Kumar and Rohini playing crucial roles. Now ‘Dude’ is on the verge to cross the 100 crore mark at the box-office.

Collections so far

In North America alone the film has collected 575K dollars so far. Dude collected 22 crores on its opening day, the film grossed a total of 83 crores so far. It is a standout winner among the Diwali releases, in Telugu cinema and in Tamil cinema Dude is faring well at the box office. 

Straight 3rd 100 crore grosser for Pradeep Ranganathan 

Pradeep Ranganthan is a surprise of the generation, he has a lean personality and not so great facial features. Still his last 2 films ‘Love Today’ and ‘Dragon’ grossed more than 100 crores at the box office. Now with Dude he scored 3 back to back 100 crore grossers. 

Pradeep has an incredible aura to pull audiences to theatres and make them feel for the character he is playing on screen. This kind of aura and performance requires authenticity from the actor slash filmmaker. 

Dude the Gen-Z film of the generation 

Dude deals with a very sensitive and soft issue, is the idea of marriage is more important than feelings of the persons involved in that marriage.  

Dude dealt this theme matter in a very comical setup and made the premise woven around this central point. Pradeep played the role of a lost lover who wants nothing but his lover to be happy. 

Pradeep Ranganathan next line up

Pradeep Ranganathan will next appear in ‘LIK’ (Love Insurance Company) under Vignesh Sivan’s direction. After that film he will be acting under his own direction and he said that it will be a sci-fi film.
