Brad Pitt’s blockbuster Formula 1 drama F1 is finally available to rent online in India. After a massive global box office run, the high-speed film has made its way to Amazon Prime Video starting August 22. Indian fans can now rent F1: The Movie for ₹499 on Prime Video. Once rented, the movie stays in your library for 30 days, and you have 48 hours to finish it after hitting play.
If you don’t want to rent, you can stream F1 on Apple TV+ soon. It’s expected to arrive between late September and early October 2025. The exact date isn’t confirmed yet. Apple plans a wider release as part of its growing lineup of original films.
Directed by Top Gun: Maverick’s Joseph Kosinski and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, F1 stars Brad Pitt as Sonny Hayes, a once-great F1 driver forced into early retirement after a 1990s crash.
Years later, his old teammate Reuben Cervantes (played by Javier Bardem) brings him back to help revive the struggling Apex GP team. Teaming up with a fiery young rookie (Damson Idris), Sonny fights to bring the underdog team back into championship contention.
F1 became the highest-grossing film of Brad Pitt’s career, raking in over $595 million worldwide. It surpassed his previous record with World War Z. The film also features Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, and Kate McKenna, with real racetrack action and IMAX-scale visuals that wowed audiences worldwide.
