In the global markets right now, Coolie is performing far better than War 2. Media sources anticipate a staggering ₹80 crore opening day for Coolie. The film has already sold tickets worth ₹27 crore abroad. US collections hold the largest share, followed by Malaysia, the United Arab Emirates, and Australia/New Zealand. In comparison, War 2 has received ₹4.5 crore in bookings worldwide. The Telugu version accounts for about half of that total. This figure may rise further as Jr. NTR makes his Bollywood debut.

War 2 has not yet opened reservations, but fans in the Telugu states expect a huge opening since the film marks Jr. NTR’s Bollywood debut. In contrast, Coolie has already launched reservations, and current stats show a slow opening day. Across 2,822 showings nationwide, the film has sold tickets worth ₹2.8 crore. With block seats included, the figure rises to ₹5.27 crore.

Renowned filmmakers direct both films, feature star-studded casts, and come from wealthy studios. Sun Group backs Coolie, which stars Soubin Shahir, Rajinikanth, Aamir Khan, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj, and Upendra. The film will release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada. Aditya Chopra’s Yash Raj Studios produces War 2, starring Hrithik, Jr. NTR, Kiara Advani, and Ashutosh Rana. War 2 will release in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.
