Idli Kadai Trailer: Kollywood star Dhanush is the actor who keeps churning out films back to back. Dhanush is a pure filmmaker; we can call him that because he is not only an actor but also a director and writer. In his career, he has directed 3 films so far and is coming out with his fourth directorial film, “Idly Kadai”. The film will be released on October 1st. It is being produced by Wunderbar Films and Dawn Pictures.

Now, according to the latest information, the film trailer will be unveiled on September 20th at an event in Coimbatore. The makers recently held an audio launch of the film, and now they seem to be going all in with the promotions. Nithya Menon is playing the film’s leading lady, whereas Arun Vijay is donning the villain’s hat. Arjun Reddy fame Shalini Pandey is playing the sister role of Dhanush. The long-time collaborator of Dhanush, G.V. Prakash Kumar, is composing the music of the film.

“I had no money to buy idlis” – Dhanush

During the audio launch of the film Dhanush made some statements which shocked many and the fans present at the event, he said “during his childhood days he used to crave for roadside idlis but there was no money with me to buy them”, this statement came as a surprise for everyone because Dhanush is now an actor who charges 20 – 35 crores for a movie. Now we can easily say he can buy whole idlis in the entire city of Chennai. But that was not the case when he was growing up.
