In the clip, Kiku says, “Timepass kar raha hu?” to which Krushna replies, “Toh phir thik hai aap karlo… Main jata hu yaha se.” The clip led fans to believe there was tension between the two, and that this may have triggered Kiku’s decision to quit.

According to him, Kiku has reportedly signed a new project a reality show called Rise & Fall, which will stream on Amazon MX Player, a rival of Netflix where Kapil’s show airs. The new show will be hosted by Ashneer Grover, and Kiku’s move may have been driven by this opportunity, rather than any fight.
